Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the ER - Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details - Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries or concerns - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information - Assist with billing and insurance claims processing - Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth patient flow Requirements:
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred - Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Proficient in using phone systems and computer applications - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients, and managing administrative tasks.
The ideal candidate should have a strong customer service orientation, be able to handle confidential information with discretion, and work well as part of a team.
