Provide professional nursing services in a variety of settings, including nursing assessments, planning, interventions, health related education, case management, and administering medications and treatments prescribed by a person authorized to prescribe by state law. Incumbent will be responsible for supervision of staff.NOTE:
Nurse Externs will not give medications or start IVs.Job Type/Salary:

$76,500/$36.78hourly Level II:
$72,500/$34.86hourly Level I:
$70,000/$33.65 hourly PLUS StackingShift Differentials:
$3.00 for evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays! Total Compensation Package:
$71,000-$91,000, depending on number of covered dependents! Includes up to 7% 401k match, 15 days annual leave AND 15 days sick leave per year, and a great benefits allowance that allows you to choose excellent state benefits at little to no cost! Primary Working Hours are:

Experience:
Level III- Bachelor's in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLCand one year of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and two years of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and three years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing. Level II- Bachelor's in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLCOR Associate in Nursing and one year of professional nursing experience OR Associate in Nursing and two years of LPN experience in psychiatric nursing. Level I- Associate in Nursing and possession of a valid permanent Oklahoma license as a registered nurse as approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or Registered Nurse License recognized by the eNLC. Note:

Upon a conditional offer of employment, Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services applicants must submit to a physical examination and shall meet the physical examination requirements of occasionally lifting/carrying 50 pounds and able to push and pull a maximum force of 25 pounds.
