Job Summary
Provides specialized support to Underwriters in an underwriting unit.Performs reviews of land surveys and creates written reports based on findings. Communicates and escalates significant issues found. Assists with printing and scanning of large-format land surveys. Assignments often involve work of a confidential nature and require knowledge of practices and procedures of the function, company products, policies, and programs.
oReviews land surveys and composes written reports that describe items of interest found on land surveys
oCreates monthly reports, invoices, and tracking spreadsheets, etc.
oGathers relevant documents from databases to research property
o Edits title commitments to add exception items
o Composes written explanations that clearly explain any issues found
Job Qualifications
o Must have high school diploma or equivalent, associate''s degree preferred
o 2
years of administrative experience, previous experience with title underwriting preferred
oExcellent written and verbal communication skills
o Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize with timely follow up
o Proficient in MS Office

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
