In this role you will be responsible for using your knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript to develop the next generation of life saving visualization products and tools. Developers in this group are tight-knit and enjoy a laid-back atmosphere where creativity is not only encouraged, it is required.
Required Skills and Education Include:
Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
Photoshop/Illustrator or GIMP/Inkscape experience
Strong knowledge of JavaScript
Experience working in an open source environment
Willingness to learn new development languages
Desired Skills and Education Include:
Understanding of UI design and development
Ability to create unit tests for JavaScript (CasperJS experience is a major plus!)
Experience with Git and/or Stash
A knowledge of or interest in D3.js
