Job Description:
The Sales Coordinator position is part of our Building Efficiency business at Johnson Controls, a fortune 67 company. Due to our growth we are adding this position on to staff.
Under general supervision, assists the sales force to ensure consistent and timely responses to our customer's needs around: customer onboarding, due diligence support and meeting legal compliance and risk evaluations. In addition, works with the sales and operations teams to expedite the contract booking process. Support the sales team's administrative needs to facilitate quality customer interaction. Provides back up customer call handling, as needed. Pro-actively finds business gaps, and provides administrative day to day support in sales areas.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Assists sales management in maintaining integrity of CRM database including forecast reports, opportunity reports, opportunity assignments, maintenance etc.
2. Prepares customer documents; sales agreements, routing sheets annual exhibits, termination letters, etc. and held in a secured area for potential litigation purposes.
3. Expedites the contract booking process by following up on any MBC holds, customer account setups, contract documentation and signatures.
4. Expedites the customer maintenance / routing sheet process to ensure customer is setup in all ERP systems and subsystems. This includes master data changes and product / brand changes.
5. Ensures specific business group requirements for new customer approvals are met and DoA approvals are obtained per the Building Efficiency Global Authorized Approval Matrix. Provide guidance to sales force on DoA matrix interpretation and delegation of authority resource tool.
6. Ensures all contract paperwork is complete, including following up on Letter of Intents, issuance of bid bonds, certificates of insurance, payment/performance bonds, prequalification questionnaires and ordering legal paperwork and forms to aid in finalization of contract award.
7. Works directly with customers to determine how accounts should be setup according to customer business needs, as well as the business unit's ability to track sales and measure results.
8. Provide assistance in the preparation of customer proposals. Preparation of PowerPoint presentations, letters, spreadsheets, etc.
9. Maintain stock of sales brochures and supplies.
10. Assists in coordinating customer visits to branch or head quarters as needed.
11. Provide additional sales administration support, as required.
Supports the sales team throughout the sales process. Assists with more complex reports, helps expedite orders or the contract booking process, and organizes an effective business support service center. University degree and 1 year minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6 years minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience required, plus a minimum of one to three years of related work experience, preferably within a legal / credit / sales / onboarding environment.
Must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients. Must have the ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence. Ability to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals. Experience and/or basic project accounting or costing principals is desired. Must have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, ACCESS, Desktop Publishing and Internet business application usage. Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and demonstrate solid organizational and attention to detail skills.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
