Management and Program Analyst

The incumbent serves as a Management and Program Analyst and is responsible for coordinating timely and quality support while conducting a wide range of administrative and technical work focused on enhancing operational efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity in direct support of Bureau-wide oversight of the Wild Horse and Burro Program. In addition to providing administrative support to the division, primary duties also include budget execution analysis and reporting, workflow processes analysis, records and database management, and training oversight. Physical Demands:
The work is mostly sedentary; however, occasional work site reviews to field offices and incident bases will be required.Work Environment:
This work is performed primarily in an office setting, although there is frequent travel to the field when work will be performed in a field environment. In addition to meeting the Basic Requirements, in order to be rated as qualified for this position, we must be able to determine that you meet the specialized experience requirement - please be sure to include this information in your resume. To be creditable, this experience must have been equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade (GS-07) of the position to be filled. To qualify for the GS-11 level:
At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in federal service. Specialized experience is defined as assisting with:
Research and investigations of new and improved business and management practices; Development of management and program evaluation plans, procedures, and methodology; Management surveys to determine compliance with regulations, procedures, sound management practices and effective utilization of staff. This level of work typically involved following established methods and procedures or detailed instructions; using some judgment in applying analytical techniques; solving minor problems and making routine decisions. -OR- a Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree or 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if relatedExperience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. For volunteer work you must identify the amount of time worked for each volunteer position including the dates (mm/dd/yy) along with the number of hours worked per week. Federal employees in the competitive service are also subject to the Time-In-Grade requirement in accordance with 5 CFR 300.604. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
